Ambassador Max Report From Bribie Island

Where is the best place to see a sunset on Bribie Island? The best place for sunset in dry season (April to September) is from our end at Bongaree in front of the bowls club looking to glass house mountains “Magic” There are also excellent views from Bellara and Banksia beach.

Three very good picnic spots on Bribie Island?
1/ A new one at Woorim surf side opposite the hotel nice view over the ocean we never had before.
2/ The area near us and the jetty has also been revamped with all new barbies very, very popular now.
3/ and our old favorite at Bellara There are also excellent facilities at Banksia beach all are by the water. We are not ones for coffee shops but a new one adjacent to the main shopping centre “The Coffee Club” is very popular and is also licensed.

Where would you go for a special night out on Bribie Island?
A special night out has to be at the Blue Anchorage restaurant adjacent to the main jetty right on the water front.
Prices are around average $30 for mains.

Where is your favourite?
Our favorite is the local family owned fish shop “Savages” have there own trawler so get nice fresh fish and chips prawns etc “YUM”
